The short version: we collect what we need to run the site and keep it safe. We don't sell your data and we don't run ad trackers. The long version is below.
1. What we collect
Account data: email, username, avatar, and anything you choose to add to your profile.
Content you post: picks, comments, shoutouts, giveaway entries, and timestamps.
Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and pages visited (collected by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site secure and working).
Affiliate referral data: if you click a Stake link from our site, Stake records that the referral came from us so we can be credited. We do not see your wagers, deposits, or balance.
2. How we use it
To run the site: sign-in, posting, moderation, giveaways, and rewards.
To prevent abuse: spam detection, multi-account checks, and security monitoring.
To improve the site: aggregate analytics about what pages people use and what's broken.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers we rely on to run the site (hosting, database, auth, email). They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
Stake.com — only the referral attribution that confirms you signed up via our code. We do not pass them your DXR account details.
Law enforcement, if required by a valid legal request.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and detect abuse. We do not use third-party ad cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but you may need to sign in again.
5. Your rights
You can edit your profile and delete your account from the profile page at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data; some posts may remain anonymized for community context.
Depending on where you live (EU/UK/California and others) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us via the DXR Discord to make a request.
6. Children
The site is 18+ (or 21+ where required). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us so we can remove the account.
7. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Logs and security data are kept for a limited time as needed to protect the site. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within a reasonable period.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed by our auth provider. Connections to the site are encrypted with HTTPS. No system is 100% secure — use a strong unique password and don't reuse it elsewhere.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may store data in the US, EU, or other regions. We rely on standard contractual safeguards where required.
10. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top.
